The Outsiders Activity 3

ACTIVITY 3.

1. We are going to reproduce and complete ‘Activity 3’ in a new blank google document.
2. Open a new blank google document and title it ‘Characters’.
3. Copy and paste ‘Activity 3’ onto the new document.

4. Fill in your name.
5. Complete activity 3 by answering the questions.
6. Once you have completed activity 3, put it onto your blog.

                                            CHARACTERS

1. Name the Greasers gang members and two other female characters. Darry, Dally, Ponyboy, Johnny, Two-bit, Sodapop, Dallas, Steven, Cherry Valance and Marcia.

2. Which character do you like the most and explain why? - I like Cherry Valance the most because she doesn’t judge people just by the looks and she doesn’t like violence and she has showed an attitude that is down the earth.

3. List some of the character traits of your favourite character that appeal to you? Her courage, personality, doesn’t like violence.

4. What character do you not like, and explain why? Bob is the character that I do not like because he judges people easily and beat people with a lower rank than him easily.

5. If you could invent a new character what would be their name? - Irene

6. What would their looks and personality be like? - She would look beautiful with a heart, she will help Cherry to prevent violence between the two gangs.

7. How old were Ponyboy and Johnny? 14 and 16.

8. Why did Dallas want to die at the end of the book? - Dallas wants to die at the end of the book because he was affected by the death of Johnny.

9. Why did Cherry Valance not want to talk to Ponyboy if they saw each other at     School? - So the Socs won’t see them with her especially Bob, and the two gangs won’t have another conflict.
